Funeral services for Mr. Allen Ray Sweat, age 68, will be held on Friday August 16, 2019 at 11 AM in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home, with Troy Redmond officiating. Burial will follow in Kail Cemetery near Alamo, TN. Visitation with the family will begin at 9 AM on Friday August 16, 2019 until service time at 11 AM in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home.
Mr. Sweat, an auto mechanic, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mr. Sweat was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Willie Fern (Smith) Sweat and his son, James Daniel Sweat.
Mr. Sweat is survived by three sisters: Nancy Lishefski of Defuniak Spring, FL, Valarie Sweeney of Millington, TN, and Patricia Charlton of Dallas, TX; and a brother, Terry Sweat of Covington, TN.
