14 year old Claudette (also called Carolyn) Covey disappeared from Hondo, Texas on Valentine's Day 1961 after being dropped off by a carload of friends, and starting to walk to her home. Her skeleton was discovered in October of the same year, buried in a shallow grave in Medina County, with two gunshot wounds to the head. Her murder has never been solved.
