Chrystal Jaquata Knight, 89, of Gould, died September 14, 1992, at Sunchase Nursing Home in Pine Bluff.
Born December 26, 1902, at the Ain Community (Grant County), she was a daughter of the late Jefferson Thomas Ashcraft and Margaret Johnson Ashcraft.
She was a homemaker, a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church at Gould and a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons, Delmon Knight, Tom Knight and Sherlon Knight, all of Gould; four daughters, Freda Bethea and Melba Bradley, both of Gould, Lyndell Bradley of Grady and Nedra Castleberry of Pine Bluff; a sister, Jeffie Fikes of Pine Bluff; 27 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. O. Knight, and two sons, Carl Knight and Maurice Knight.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. today at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church at Gould with Jim Smith and Dubs Byers officiating. Burial will be in Dark Corner Cemetery by Griffin Funeral Home of Dumas.
Memorials may take the form of donations to Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
