Beatrice (Bea) Rogers, 87, died on 8/11/19 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born 11/11/31 in Vernon, Texas to Edgar Vernon and Wilma (Cook) Vernon. She married Jackie Clinton Rogers on 10/6/1950 in Electra, Texas. Bea retired from Consumers' IGA after working there for many years.

Bea enjoyed going to casinos with her brother and sister or anyone else who would go with her! She also loved scratch-off lottery tickets and her excitement was contagious as she scratched and won. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid garage saler. The day before she left us, she asked Denise if there were any good garage sales nearby and would've happily gone. If they were having any in heaven Saturday, you can be sure she was the first one there. She was a Sooner and Thunder fan and loved Baker Mayfield.

She was a devoted wife and mother and was very close to her siblings Kenneth, Josie, and Eddie. She had many loyal friends throughout her life and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in law, Christel and Jamie Bender; older brother, Kenneth and his wife Wanda; Josie's husband, Glen; Eddie's wife; Glenda; her beloved husband ,Jack; and her first child, Anthony, who died at birth.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise; sister, Josie; brother, Eddie, many nieces and nephews; and dear friends. She will be greatly missed.

Viewing will be Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with family present from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, August 15 at noon in Mercer-Adams Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
