Obituary: Funeral services for Mrs. Guy Lansing, 59, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. M.O. Kraabel, pastor of the church, conducting the rites.

Mrs. Lansing, a well-known resident of the area, died Dec. 24 at her home following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services for Mrs. Guy Lansing, 59, of Bode, will be held today (Friday) at St. Olaf's Lutheran Church in Bode at 2 p.m., with burial in St. Olaf's cemetery. The Rev. M.O. Kraabel will officiate.

The Lindhart Funeral Home is in charge.

Anna Luela Schultz was born at LuVerne Feb. 17, 1897. Her patents were Will and Mary Bussie Schultz. She was one of a family of seven children.

She was married to Guy Lansing of Bode and made her home there from then on. They were the parents of five children.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Arnold Ketelsen of West Bend and Mrs. Wilbur Meyer of Cushing, Okla.; one son Paul of Bode; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bryan Oglesby of Mason city and Mrs. Arthur Ramus, Des Moines; and one brother, William Schultz of Livermore.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia and a son, Garmmon; two brothers, one sister and her parents.

Mrs. Lansing had ben a patient at University hospital at Iowa City and the Fort Dodge Lutheran Hospital this fall, but had returned to her home at Bode, where she passed away Tuesday afternoon.

Ernest Ellingson, Cornel Knutson, Harold Bergum, Peter Espe, Floyd Torgerson and Arnold Larson will be casket bearers.

Mrs. Miles Helmen will be soloist and Mrs. Lewis Bergum will accompany her. Flowers will be arranged by the church committee.
