"Graveside services for ROLAND J. PREISS, 79, of Longview, were held at 10 a.m. today in White Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Bruce officiating. Arrangements were by Rader Funeral Home. After a lengthy illness, Mr. Preiss died Wednesday, February 27, 1985, in Lynn Lodge Nursing Home. He was a retired parts analyst with American Airline and was a member of Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church. He had lived in Longview, Texas eight months, moving from Sullivan, Missouri. Survivors include his wife, Ola J. Gibson Preiss, of Longview; one daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Bill White, of Longview; two sisters, Nelda Price, of Saint Louis, Missouri, and Carol Zuroweste, of Claremore, Oklahoma; one grandson, Jess White, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; and one great-grandson. Memorial contributions may be made to the local Alzheimer's Disease Support Group, in care of 1519 Wilderness Way, Longview, Texas."
