Byrnes Belk, 82, of Lufkin passed away in his home. He was a Retired PhD level Clinical Child Psychologist with the Beaumont Neurological Center for twenty-seven years. He is survived by his wife of seven years, Ruby Shearin Belk, son Owen Belk, his wife Pam, daughter Laura Belk, and grandchildren Brittney Dominick, Lora and Hillary Belk, Sequoia and Missouri Belk-Hurst. He was predeceased by his wife of fifty years, Mary Bond Campbell Belk, and a host of relatives and friends.
