Harry Edward “Jiggs” “Paw” McKeehan, age 89, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed peacefully Monday, August 5, 2019 at his home.

Mr. McKeehan was born May 28, 1930 in Texarkana, Arkansas and was a lifetime resident of Texarkana. He was a farmer, truck driver, small business owner, and a Christian. He enjoyed spending time in his garden raising vegetables and produce to take to the local farmers’ market. Jiggs was a man of his word and always had time to share stories about old times with his grandchildren, family and friends. “Paw” was a gentle, kind, loving man who will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Ann McKeehan of Texarkana, Arkansas, one son and daughter-in-law, Butch and Pat McKeehan of Genoa, Arkansas, two daughters and one son-in-law, Joyce and Richard Angell of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Lisa Preston of Texarkana, Arkansas, one brother, Virgil and Marsha McKeehan of Texarkana, Arkansas, six grandchildren, Misty Cook and her husband Steve, Mesha Oliver, Eric Pickett and his wife Tracey, Brian Pickett, Tiffany Voan and her husband Chris , Justin McKeehan, seven great grandchildren, Chase Cook, Lauren Cook, Kaitlyn Oliver, Kynlee Garrett, Addyson Voan, Matthew Voan, Colton Jiggs Pickett, one very special helper, Melissa and a number of friends and other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P. M. Friday at Harmony Grove Cemetery with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
