Ida Kallestad was born March 15, 1894 in Michigan, ND, the daughter of Magnus and Kari Kallestad. After she married Louis Nelson in Michigan they lived in Inkster where they operated Ccity Service Oil Co. until he died in 1938. In 1942 she married her brother-in-law Elmer Nelson in Tacoma, Wash. He died in 1948. She later married Albert Orvik. Children: Norris Nelson, Carolyn (Mrs. George Gowan) and a step daughter Grace Cady.
