RINGLING -- Services for Will B. Gregg, 85, will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 1, 1998, at the Church of Jesus Christ Gospel Tabernacle with Jimmy Morris officiating. Interment will be at Ringling Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
Gregg died Nov. 29, 1998, in Ardmore. He was born May 15, 1913, at Rubottom, to Joseph H. and Hannah May Gregg.
Reared in the Orr area, he married Geneva Marie Abshire Oct. 26, 1938, at Orr, and they farmed and ranched until moving into Ringling in 1972. He then worked for Stroud Lumber Co. and Bill Smith Construction Co. His wife died in February 1974. He and Lavada M. Turner Gravley were married Jan. 4, 1979. He had been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ for 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Martha Coaly and Barbara Barnes; and a grandson, whom he reared, Larry Griffin, all of Ringling; a stepdaughter, Mary Jackson, Davis; two stepsons, Charles Cain, Dallas, Ga., and William Lenhart, Lexington; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by twin children, Jack and Jill; two sisters, Florence Lambert and Lue E. Riley; four brothers, Luther, Homer, Bob and Melvin; and a grandson.
Bearers will be Don Patrick, Keith Blankenship, Jake Wade, Gene Jackson, Richard Wooley, Bill and Kenneth Smith.
