Goldie M. Fischer, 92, of Rapid City, formerly of Mobridge, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 of natural causes at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Goldie was born on July 17, 1920 in Conata, SD to Clyde Sharp and Wilma (Jacobs) Sharp. She was raised on a ranch southeast of Interior, SD. Goldie married Alfred McIlravy in June of 1943, and later she married Lloyd Fischer of Mobridge in June of 1962. Goldie was one of 17 children.
She is survived by two daughters, Wilma Schone of Riverton, WY and Shirley Hoey of Rapid City; two sons, LeRoy (Joleen) McIlravy of Gillette, WY and Marvin (Joyce) McIlravy of Box Elder; four brothers, Jake, Clyde, Claude, and Robert Sharp; her sister, Donna Bounds of Black Hawk, SD; ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Goldie was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Alfred McIlravy and Lloyd Fischer; a son, Ronald McIlravy; brothers, Tom, Wilson, William, Willard, Russell, Calvin, Albert and Ben Sharp; sisters, June Mendenhall, Celeste Teal, and Rose Bonvillan.
A private inurnment will be done at a later date in Mobridge, SD.
