Arlene attended public school in Flint and graduated from Flint High School. She married Ralph William Cook May 17, 1941, at the Court Street Church in Flint. They had two children, Ralph William Cook Jr. and Emily Ann Cook who were raised in Flint and Spring Lake, Michigan.
Arlene loved learning and attended college after her children were raised. She and her husband enjoyed many trips to family history towns and areas collecting genealogy information for their research of their families.
Ralph and Arlene moved to Meridian, Idaho in 1999 to be closer to grandsons.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph William Cook, children; Ralph William Cook, Jr. and Emily Ann Cook; her parents, Bert Feller and Laura Root Feller, her two sisters, Marie Elizabeth Burgess and Ruth Eloise Barr.
