Doris Evelyn Anderson, 84, of Biwabik, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 in St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth following a diagnosis with Leukemia in January. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert W. and Thea M. (Onstad) Obernolte; and a brother, Dean Obernolte. Survivors include her husband and best friend, Osmo of 60 years; children, Mary Beth (Michael) Alsop of Port Moody, British Columbia, Randy (Carrie) Anderson of Aurora, Nancy (Mick) Sommer of Golden, Colo., and Jeff (Sue Haupt) Anderson of Hibbing; grandchildren, Cheryl (Scott) Love, Jennifer Alsop, Geoffrey Alsop, Chris Anderson, Danielle Anderson, Jessica Anderson and Corey Anderson; sister, Jo-an (Norman) Getsinger of Flint Hall, Va.; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews and cousins. VISITATION:5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora and continues from 9 a.m. Monday until the 10 a.m. service in Community United Church of Christ in Biwabik with Rev. Rebecca Wentworth officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Lakeside Cemetery in Biwabik.
