James was born on August 20, 1930 in Nashville, GA to the late Ellie and Birdie (Guthrie) Brogdon. Mr. Brogdon was a lifetime farmer. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with all his family. He was preceded in death by his son, James Lamar Brogdon, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include: Loving Wife of 69 years; Arlene Sirmans Brogdon of Lakeland, GA. Children; Avy B. (Jimmy) Hiers, Valdosta, GA, Donald (Patricia Dianne) Brogdon, Lakeland, GA, Ronnie (Patty) Brogdon, Lakeland, GA, Patricia Brogdon, Lakeland, GA, Rhonda Lynn (Bryan) Suggs, Lakeland, GA, Kenneth D (Gena Rene’) Brogdon, Irwinton, GA, Cynthia Arlene Royals and Fiancé, Michael Paulk, Douglas, GA, 17 Grandchildren; 28 Great grandchildren; 2 Great, great grandchildren, Brother; Robert Julius (Iva) Brogdon, Homerville, GA, Sister; Sally B Harper, Nashville, GA, Numerous nieces and nephews.
