Melinda Cowan's Maiden Name is Barry. Her Parents is Eldridge Gary Barry and Ellender Cornelius. They were both born in Blountsville, Blounts County, Alabama. Ellender's are Cpl. Cargile Cornelius and Nancy C. Blackwood. She was born Aug 26, 1851 and is buried Aug 26, 1851 in Wise County, Texas. FindaGrave# 43594655 Eldridge was born Feb 1853 and dead Dec 17, 1902 in Texas. They had 9 children but only 7 lived. The 2 that are dead are buried in Pleasant Grove where she is buried. We did not know where they buried him He might be in a unnamed plot. He is a Master Mason. I have checked with the Master Masons about where he is buried. They told me He died before they started keeping records.
