ANDREN, Vena S. (age 92) – Passed away on December 23, 1993 in Spokane. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and J. Leonard Wileen, Seattle, Elizabeth and John Babb, Cheney, WA; four grandchildren, David J. Babb, Robin F. Bruce, Jan C. Hawskford, Greg G. Wileen; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Stella Higginbotham, Maple Valley, WA. Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, George L. Andren (1982). A lifetime resident of the area. A former member of the Presbyterian Church in Wenatchee and a member of the Royal Neighbors. For many years Mrs. Andren was the head of buying for the Sears Department Store in Wenatchee, WA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 1993 at 11:00 A.M. at Riverside Mausoleum Chapel. Private Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park. HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME, in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Union Gospel Mission, or the Cheney Care Center.

Service and private burial for Vena S. Andren, 92, is scheduled for 11 a.m. today at Riverside Memorial Park.

Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Andren, who died Thursday, was born in Cheney.

She was head buyer for the Sears Roebuck department store in Wenatchee. She moved to Spokane 18 years ago.

Mrs. Andren was a member of the Wenatchee Presbyterian Church and the Royal Neighbors.

She married George L. Andren in 1929. He died in 1982.

Survivors include two daughters, Catherine Wileen of Seattle and Elizabeth Babb of Cheney; a sister, Stella Higginbotham of Maple Valley, Wash.; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-daughter.

Memorials may be made to the Union Gospel Mission, Spokane, or to the Cheney Care Center, Cheney, WA.
