She was born November 5, 1916 in Rose Hill, IA to James W. and Della Lowry Landgrebe. She married Henry Shilling on September 27, 1933. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1997.
She was resident of Ottumwa since 1934 and a member of Ottumwa Baptist Temple since 1948.
Surviving are two sons, Alan Shilling of Sioux City, IA and Lawrence Shilling of Ottumwa; a daughter, Barbara Suechting of Winters, CA; 17 grandchildren including two grandsons raised in the home, Charles and Carl Thompson; 34 great- grandchildren; 8 great- great- grandchildren; 3 great- great- great- grandchildren; a sister, Juanita Geodert of Puyallup, WA.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Joyce Larson and Erma Milner; a daughter-in-law, Betty Shilling; a son-in-law, John Larson; a granddaughter, Carol Thompson who was raised in the home, three sisters, June Bosarge, Evelyn West and Vivian Cash; three brothers, Carl, Lloyd and Martin Landgrebe.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ottumwa Baptist Temple with Pastor Travis Decker officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to Ottumwa Baptist Temple.
