He was a former construction foreman and a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors are wife, Audry; three daughters, Zion Baylon, Adrian, Mich., Lannie Smith, Covington, Ky., and Mrs. Robert (Julie) Smithee, Fairmount; one brother, Robert Gordon, Sweetser; one sister, Helen Vincent, Amboy; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday at Jay-Swift & Storey Funeral Home, Gas City. Burial was made in the Gardens of Memory cemetery, Huntington County.
