He was born June 5, 1900, in West Mansfield, a son of Pearl and Estella Stockton McDonald.
On November 29, 1918, the deceased was married to the former Irene Dally, who survives with a son Robert McDonald of Bellefontaine; Three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Opal) Whitman, Anderson, Ind., Mrs Phillip (Nadine) Wright of Willowick, and Mrs. Gladys Edwards, of Bellefontaine; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a brother Harold B. McDonald, of columbus, and two sisters, Mrs Zula Atkinson and Mrs Helen Skidmore, both of West Mansfield.
