Mrs. Bawcom was born October 7, 1919, in Ranger Texas to Percy Dean and Lenora Grace (Haney) Walsh. She moved to Monahans in 1936. She married William J. (Jack) Bawcom in San Diego, California, on August 17, 1942. At the close of World War II, they settled in Wickett to work and raise their family.
At the time of her death, Juanita was survived by her husband Jack, of Monahans, twin sons, Jerry and wife Vicky, of Belton, and Terry and wife Connie, of Abilene. A brother, Gene Walsh of Odessa, and 2 sisters, Lillie Mae Steen of Odessa, and Violet Betts of Helena, Montana. Also 5 grandchildren, Jessica Inoff of Houston, Amy Bawcom of Belton, Courtney Bawcom of Dallas, Brittany Gaskill of Dallas and Clint Bawcom of Houston, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers, Cline, Dean, James L. (Pug) and Gloyd.
