Albert B., youngest child of John & Leah Weaver Garver, was born near Bristol, Indiana, February 2, 1855; passed from this life at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry Jacobitz near Mt. Clare, Nebr., on October 19, 1938, aged 83 years, 10 months, 17 days.
Deceased was the youngest of 12 children, and for some years was the only survivor of this large family.
He was on December 25, 1867, united in marriage with Lillian McGaw. In 1882 they removed to Jackson county (sic), Mo., in 1884 to Cloud county (sic), Kans., and in 1901 to Nuckolls county (sic), Nebr., where he had since maintained his residence.
To the family were born 7 children, two of whom, Edgar E. and Lawrence H.., with his companion preceded him in death. There survive: John F. of Lamoni, Iowa, Norman B. of Miller, Mo., Mrs. Henry Jacobitz of near Mt. Clare, Nebr., Adah B. of Clay Center, Nebr., and Alta L. of Appleton, Wash. He is also survived by 15 grand children and 6 great grand children, other relatives and friends.
In his early manhood our brother became a member of the Dunkard Church, in the traditions of which faith he had been reared. Honesty and industry and good citizenship were therefore ingrained in his personality, and such go to make the Kingdom of God.
Funeral services were held at the Albert Klawitter chapel Friday and interment at Nelson.
