Glynn met and married the love of his life, Virginia "Ginny" Sargeant studying at The Harris School of Art. Glynn and Ginny had one child, their daughter, Karen. He took pride in his daughter, as well as his two grandchildren, Kelly Corbett and Craig McCoy, and three great-grandchildren, Virginia Corbett, James Corbett, and William Corbett.
During his career, he worked in graphic design for Douglas Aircraft, Arnold Research Organization, and Lockheed, then in advertising for Citizens & Southern Bank. Glynn earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Georgia State University, subsequently serving on the staff of the art department.
During his retirement, Glynn traveled widely and pursued his dream of sculpting and has sculptures in many places of the country, including Asbury Theological Seminary, Samford University, Georgia State University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Mercer University, and Georgia Southern University.
Glynn was loved and respected by his family and many friends and associates. He will be missed, and never forgotten.
