Arrington died January 15 in the Spur Care Center following a lengthy illness. Born August 10, 1896 in Palo Pinto County, he married the former Billie Shugart in Dickens County on August 31, 1918. She died March 10, 1984.
He was a farmer and rancher and had been a member of the Spur Masonic Lodge since 1942. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Victor Arrington and Charlie Arrington, both of Spur; two daughters, Ida Lee McInroe, Roaring Springs and Pat Sudderth, Arlington; a sister, Gladys Borden, Black Springs, AR; six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Boney Winkler, Gerald Horton, Ditch Hines, Jimmy Don McInroe, Jack Condron and Don Condron.
