Services for Mary Lavelle Adcock, 73, of Spur were at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bob Wright and Rev. Tommy Henderson officiating.
Burial was in the Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

She died Friday, July 7, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born Dec. 4, 1926, in Eastland, Texas. She married Rawleigh Raymond Adcock on Sept. 22, 1945, in Spur. He preceded her in death May 16, 1983. Her parents as well as three brothers also preceded her in death. She lived most of her life in Dickens and Kent County. She was a graduate of Jayton High School. She was a housewife and mother, a member of the Calvary Temple Church in Dickens and involved in Prison Ministry.

Survivors include five sons, Michael Adcock of Lubbock, Richard Adcock of Spur, Jerry Adcock of Howe, Texas, Terry Adcock of Spur and Kevin of Roswell, New Mexico; five daughters, Marilyn Taylor of Spur, Sandra Tagle of Spur, Donna Otwell of Spur, Cynthia Atkinson of Quitman and Laurie Garcia of Spur; three brothers, Kenneth Pearson of Graham, Rodger Pearson of Midland and Larry Pearson of Midland; one sister, Christine Hurst of San Juan Capistrano, CA; 23 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
