John Robert "Bobby" Hooker, 87, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Ann Hooker, three brothers and five sisters. Bobby is survived by one sister, Evangeline Rutledge of Augusta, Georgia; four sons, John Forrester (Jan), Alex Hooker (Cathy), Robert Hooker (JoBeth), and Tracy Hooker. He also leaves behind Faye Greer Cox, sister-in-law, lovingly raised as a daughter. Bobby leaves behind 15 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Collierville Funeral Home on Sunday, July 16, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 3812 Kirby Parkway, Memphis TN, on Monday, July 17 at 2 p.m., with burial to follow in Memphis Memory Gardens in Memphis, TN.
