The Evening Post, New York, Thursday, March 23, 1911. Henry A. Ferguson, the landscape artist, died yesterday at his home, No. 226 West Seventy eighth Street, after an illness of three days. He was at his easel last week and had shown his work at the Century Association in January. Mr. Ferguson was born at Glens Falls, New York, about sixty years ago, and was educated at Trinity College. When he left college he traveled extensively and set up his easel in Egypt, Italy, Mexico, and South America. In recent years, Mr. Ferguson had devoted a great deal of his time to the restoration of paintings, a work in which he achieved great success. He was a member of the Century Association and an associate member of the National Academy of Design, and is survived by his wife, Eleanor, a daughter of the late Rudolph Garrigue, and one daughter.
