FLECK, Nick (Nicodemus)

It is with deep sadness and love that the family announces the peaceful passing of Nick Fleck on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Nick married Josepha (Mildenberger) in May, 1978, who was widowed with seven children. Since then his family has grown to include daughters/sons-in-law, eighteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Nick is also survived by his siblings, Marianne (Gene) Vetsch, Ida Ganie, Rosemary Biever, Leo (Geralyn) Fleck and Norbert (Lolie) Fleck; and sister-in-law, Eileen (Fleck). He will be lovingly missed by all of us. Nick was predeceased by his loving wife Joey; parents, Mary and Joseph Fleck; brothers, Raphael and Matt; and sister, Leona. The family would like to thank the staff at Kipnes Centre for Veterans for their care and compassion during his residence there. The family will hold a private interment at Holy Cross Mausoleum at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and NWT or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT and Nunavut.
