WOODVILLE Services for Willie H. Ross Jr., 63, of Baton Rouge, who died Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, will be at 11 a.m. today at Magnolia Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Smith officiating.

Mr. Ross was born Sept. 23, 1950, in Lessley, the son of William H. Ross Sr. and Veolor Scott Ross.

Mr. Ross was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Sadie R. LeBlanc; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Survivors include his mother; his children, Briant Ross and Renee Ross, of Rosedale La., Michell Ross of Baton Rouge, Melissa Ross and husband, Louis, of Grosse Tete and Timothy Ross and wife, Martavia, of Chicago; one brother, John H. Ross and wife, Dorothy Jean, of Woodville; two sisters, Betty R. Simon and husband, Hayward, of Lake Charles and Jacqueline R. Washington of Baton Rouge; one brother-in-law, Ernest LeBlanc of Baton Rouge; 10 grandchildren; and a number of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
