Lorraine Westmoreland, 76, of Amarillo, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Central Church of Christ Chapel with Dick Marcear of Central Church of Christ and Lyndon Latham of Anna Street Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue & Pierce Street.
Mrs. Westmoreland was born in Tye and moved to Amarillo in 1963. She was office manager for Dr. Norman E. Wright and a member of Central Church of Christ.
She married Darrell E. Westmoreland in 1944 at Abilene. He died in 1968. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Shafer, in 1997.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Loe of Canyon; a sister, Christine Thomasson of Kingsland; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to Christian Relief Fund, P.O. Box 19670, Amarillo, TX 79114-1967; or BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176-0001.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Today at the funeral home.
