Mary E. Wilson - age 93 of Altamont, MO passed away Friday night, July 19th, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 AM Tuesday morning, July 23rd, 2019 at the Altamont United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends the evening prior, Monday from 6 to 8 PM at Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin. Friends may call after 11 AM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Altamont United Methodist Church or Comfort Care Hospice in Cameron. Burial at Mt. Ayr Cemetery, Altamont. Arrangements are under the direction of Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin.

Mary E. Wilson - age 93 of Altamont, MO passed away Friday night, July 19th, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on September 1st, 1925 in Altamont the daughter of William Bryant and Elizabeth Ann (Stroup) McGinnis. She was a 1943 graduate of Altamont High School. On November 11th, 1944 she was united in marriage to JB Wilson in Tyler, TX. Together they made their home on the farm southeast of Altamont. Mary worked briefly at the canning factory in Pattonsburg and a candy factory in Tyler, TX. She was a dedicated farm wife and homemaker. Mary was a good cook and baker. Her pies were a family favorite. Mary loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing of all kinds. Mary and JB enjoyed spending the last 33 winters in Texas. Mary was a member of the Altamont United Methodist Church. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Carolyn Terry. Survivors include: husband, JB of the home; daughter, Judy (Curtis) Taylor of Blue Springs; son, Jerry (Michelle) Wilson of Altamont; son, Larry (Robin) Wilson of Altamont; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.
