Carla Sue Furlow Adkison was born February 12, 1956 to Ed and Ima Furlow in Orange, TX. Carla passed away July 18, 2019.
Carla married her high school sweetheart, David, and together they built a great life. She loved the flea market. Her granddaughter Paige, kept her young and on her toes.
Carla was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents Lona and JJ Duncan and Jimmy and Vera Furlow; uncles RB Duncan and Eland Duncan; and cousin Dan Duncan.
Carla is survived by her husband David Adkison; children Shane and Casey Adkison; grandchildren Paige Adkison, Alyssa Wright, Kolt, Klay, and Bailey Adkison, and Alex Sampson; brother Morris Wayne Brown and wife Sally; and sister Beth Lee.
Honoring Carla as pallbearers will be Kolt Adkison, Klay Adkison, Brian McElhannon, Jamey Adkison, Lee Tullis, and Brandon Tullis. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Slick King and Tim Brown.
