Edward “Frenchy” Joseph Alexander Fauque, born to Jean Joseph Edouard Fauque and Elizabeth “Elisa” Marie Thereze Chapuy had two brothers Joseph Michel Fauque, Eugene “Gene” Wilfred Fauque, and a sister Mary Jane Fauque. The family emigrated from Gap, canton St. Bonnet, Commune du Poligny, France when he was about six years old. Edward had an older half-brother John August Fauque from his father’s first wife _ Blanc.
Frenchy was married two times. His first wife was Nellie B. Hester married 3 August, 1929, in Shelby, Montana. From that Union were two sons, Monte Ray Fauque and Lynn Edward Fauque. His second marriage was to Hazel Caroline Henault-Murphy-Taylor-Fauque 6 February, 1955. Hazel had a daughter Carol Ann Murphy from a previous marriage.
Frenchy had a very successful sand and gravel business in Cut Bank for many many years. He and Hazel raised their children in Cut Bank. Burial is in Crown Hill Cemetery, Cut Bank, Glacier County, Montana.
