Pete (Truitt Weldon) Arnett, 68, of Hamilton died Thursday, March 4, at Hamilton General Hospital following an extended illness. Funeral services were held Friday, March 5, at the Evant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wade Lackey officiating. Burial was at Murphree Cemetery in Evant.
Mr. Arnett was born March 4, 1925, in the West Point Community to Eddie Jasper (Buddy) and Millie Glover Arnett. He worked as a laborer and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Evant.
Survivors include four brothers, Alvis Arnett of League City and Delbert, Jessie and Eddie Joe Arnett, all of Evant.
