Leola Toop, late of Chilliwack, passed away Aug 8, 1991 at the Chilliwack General Hospital at age 81. She was born Dec 7, 1909 in Rosedale, Manitoba and lived in the Chilliwack area since 1972.
She first came to Chilliwack in 1927, married Carter Sampson Toop in 1931, moved to Williams Lake in 1953 and returned to Chilliwack in 1972.
At the request of the deceased, no service was held. Cremation, Valley Crematorium.
She is survived by her children, Warner (Eileen) Toop of Winter Harbour, BC., Maureen (Jack) Barens of Williams Lake, BC., Marshall (Gerrie) Toop of Chilliwack, Leonard Toop of Chilliwack, 13 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Carter in 1986, and by her daughter in law Karen Toop in March 1991.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Karen Toop Memorial Fund, c/o Chilliwack General Hospital. Henderson's Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
