IONIA, MICH., Feb. 6 - Coroner Wallace Jackson today attributed the death of Emerson J. Lemasters, 56-year-old South Ionia county road commission driver, to traffic injuries.
A six-ton dump-scraper which he was driving crashed down an embankment Thursday afternoon and Lemasters died in the cab. At first it was believed he may have suffered a heart attack but Coroner Jackson said an autopsy by Dr. Stephen Holt of Lansing disclosed Lemasters died of shock and injuries.
