Thomas Edwards Is Dead After Illness Lasting Two Years
Thomas Edwards, aged 61, died Saturday at his home 423 south Washington street after an illness of two years with cancer of the face.
He is survived by the widow, four daughters, Geneva, Eva, Dorothy and Bertha Austin, of Montana; one brother, John Edwards, of Yellowstone; and four sisters, Mrs. John Fultz, of Bedford, Mrs. Nathan Abbott, Mrs. Sherman Deford and Mrs. Mary Abbott of this city.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today from the Allen funeral home in charge of Rev. Walter Hughes. Interment was in Valhalla Memorial park. Pallbearers were Howard Thomas, Oscar Lawson, John Crider, Orville Frame, Ezra Harris and Jesse Purtlebaugh.
