Rita Faye (Rodecap) Guy, 62, passed away on June 19th 2019 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital after complications of pancreatic and kidney cancer. Rita was the oldest daughter of John and Charlotte Rodecap of Perry. She is survived by her son Jody Guy, grandchildren Briar and Amelia Guy, mother Charlotte Rodecap and stepfather Herman Edwards, brothers John Jr. (Cindy), Larry, and Jeremy, her sisters Terri (Jim) Gawith and Lisa (Scott) Bond, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, John Rodecap Sr. Rita was a cook for several nursing homes in Lawrence and several Greek chapters for Baker University in Baldwin. Rita was also a long term member of the Rural Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Visitation will be June 28th from 6-7:30 PM with memorial service at 7:30 at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rita Guy Cancer Fund at any First State Bank location or to the funeral home.
