SFC Bryan Paul Agge, 38, of Greenwood, IN, formerly of Sullivan, passed away April 5, 2018, in Greenwood, IN. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2018, at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery, Arthur, IL, with Military Rites by the Camp Atterbury Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to Mission 22, an organization that helps support veterans struggling with PTSD and how to heal and cope with the War they fight at Home. Bryan was born June 25, 1979, in Decatur, the son of Richard and Lisa (Wood) Agge. He married Cathryn M. Frazelle on June 25, 2004, in Decatur; she survives. Bryan served in the United States Army for 16 years and was a Sergeant First Class while working as a Chemical NCO. He was also the NCOIC of the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles Parachute Demonstration Team. Bryan’s family was very important to him; he was a passionate and loving husband, father, son, and friend. He cherished spending time with the ones he loved and made many beautiful memories with all of them. They will miss him deeply and will always remember the love he had in his heart. He is survived by his wife, Cathryn M. Agge of Greenwood, IN, formerly of Mt. Zion, IL; daughter, Charlotte Agge of Greenwood, IN; father and mother, Richard and Lisa Agge of Sullivan; grandmother and grandfather, Betty and Harold “Ruty” Rutan of Arthur; sister, Beth (Ryan) McCann of St. Louis, MO; nephew, Nolan McCann; cousins, Nicholas Wood and Megan Wood; and great-aunt, Marianne Mattox. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edward and Catherine Agge; maternal grandfather, Paul “Bing” Wood; uncle, Mitch Wood; and great-uncle, Jack Mattox.
