Rising City--John G. Aden, 81, retired Havelock businessman and former member of the Butler County Board of Supervisors, died Thursday.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Methodist Church in Surprise, followed by 2 p.m. services at Havelock Methodist Church. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.
In the feed and grain business in Havelock for a number of years, Mr. Aden was a member for over 50 years of the Masonic Lodge and OES at Havelock. He had also been a member of the Havelock Methodist Church for over a half century.
Surviving are his wife, Esther; son, Fred of Rising City; three brothers and three sisters.
