Rev. J.R. Edwards of the Baptist church conducted the funeral services over the remains of Wm Edgerton last Sunday. Mr. Edgerton was the father of Mrs. Casper Cooper, and one of the pioneers of Harper county. He was buried in the Singer cemetery Sunday afternoon.

Wm. Edgerton, father-in-law of Casper Cooper, died at the home of the latter on last Saturday from the effects of a stroke of paralysis which he suffered a few days previous. We understand he was buried in the Singer cemetery. Mr. Edgerton was very old and too feeble to withstand even a slight stroke of paralysis.

Wm. Edgerton, an old and highly respected citizen of Silver Creek township, died Friday Dec. 13, and was buried the following Sunday in the Singer cemetery. Rev. J.R. Edwards conducted the funeral services.
