Leon is survived by his wife of 22 years, Linda (Harding) Alston; son, Kenny; daughters, Jodi, Antinina, Cycily and DeAnn. He is also survived by sister, Sandra; 13 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter; along with a score of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Leon Alston was a proud veteran, serving 29+ years, in the United States Army. He served as a Green Beret and served 3 tours in Vietnam. The retired Garrison Sergeant Major of Fort Carson was highly decorated and respected.
Leon was also a well-known Dj, affectionately known as "Ace" for decades.
