She married Billy Fred Robinson, Sr on Dec 18, 1904 in Elizabethton, Carter County, Tennessee. She is the mother of three children, her only daughter, Lynda Kay Robinson Thomas, preceded her in death (9/24/1952-5/16/1998 in Kingsport, Sullivan County, Tennessee).
She was my mother-in-law and I spent a lot of time with her trying to get her to talk about her family. She was a very reserved woman who felt the past was the past and should be left there. She did tell me a little about her parents Nannie Blevins & Lawson Lewis and shared a few photos with me.
She went blind from an undiagnosed brain tumor and died Aug 28, 2017, about 6 weeks after she became ill. Sadly, the tumor wasn't discovered until she was admitted to the hospital and it was too late to operate.
She was a devout Bible reader and her faith helped her to remain stoic and hold fast to her belief in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
