MADELINE E. HARDING – Age 91, of Batavia, entered into eternal rest on July 7, 2019, at United Memorial Medical Center. She was born June 15, 1928, in Yorkshire, New York to the late George L. and Matilda (Rauch) Drinkwalter.
Madge was a graduate of Delevan Central High School, the Wyoming County Community Hospital School of Nursing and Genesee Community College. She worked at the former St. Jerome Hospital and Genesee County Nursing Home.
She was a member of the Batavia Senior Quilting Club, enjoyed traveling and watching sports. Especially loved were her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Frank, married for 70 years; 3 sons, Richard of Schenectady, George (Yanasa) of Tonawanda and Mark (Nat) of Corfu; 1 daughter, Gail of Batavia; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; sister-in-law, Alice Harding of Florida; along with nieces and nephews.
As per her wishes, there will be no services or calling hours. Burial will be at the Wyoming, New York Cemetery by the family at a date to be determined.
