Thomas B. (Tom) Adee, 70, died suddenly about 5:30 Monday afternoon at his home two and a half miles west of here on what is known as the Whisler place. He expired in the home following the evening meal.
Mr. Adee had made his home in the vicinity of Hermitage and Wheatland most of the time since 1934. He had also lived in the county at an earlier date, spending part of his boyhood on a farm near Weaubleau.
Surviving are his wife, Musie Jane née Smith; three sons, Ivan, Lloyd and Harold and a daughter, Mabel, all by a former marriage to Carrie Mable née Brown, and a sister, Miss Ida Adee of Hermitage.
Funeral services are being held this afternoon at the Hathaway Funeral Home with Rev. J. L. Wright officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at Robinson Cemetery west of Weaubleau.
