Robt. Somerville Dies; Ex-head of Freight Company
Robert Somerville, 75 years old died yesterday in St. Luke's hospital following a week's illness of influenza. His home was at 154 Bartram road, Riverside.
Mr. Somerville was born in Hamilton, Ont., and came to Chicago in 1871. He was in the passenger traffic department of the Chicago and Alton railroad until 1905, when he became president of the freight forwarding concern. He retired from business in 1925.
A daughter, Mrs. Dorothea S. Faurot of Riverside, survives. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow at the residence, with burial in Forest Home cemetery.
