Entered into eternal rest on the evening of June 21, 2007, Lt. Leroy L. Hill U.S.N. Ret., husband of the late Annie Mae Hill. Residence, North Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Lt. Leroy L. Hill, are invited to attend his funeral services on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at ten o'clock in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. Friends may call at Stuhr's North Area Chapel this Wednesday between six and eight o'clock. Lt. Hill was born on August 2, 1925 in Horton, KS, the son of Frank E. Hill and Eva Bindel Hill. He was a veteran of the U. S. Naval Department of Defense, retired from POMFLANT (1974) Missile Inspector and Security Guard at the Naval Hospital. He is survived by three sons: Samuel Hill and his wife, Betty of St. Marys, GA, Frank Hill and his wife, Bonnie of Oklahoma City, OK and George Hill and his wife, Martha of Summerville, SC; four brothers: Albert Hill of Iowa, Elmer Hill, Ivan Hill and Herman Hill all of Kansas; two sisters, Norma McDonald and Alice Climer both of Kansas; eight grandchildren: Gabriel, Jason, Leila, Wendy, Benjamin and Page Hill, Jerry Lee Thomas II and Marthita Thomas; and eight great-grandchildren. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
