So far, I have been unable to find any record of this individual (marriage record, census record, death record, newspaper obituary). It seems clear that Ethel Lee (nee RACKLEY) had several children by a Mr. FRANKLIN. I've seen some records that suggest his name was Jim instead of Joe. Don't know source for given names or nickname, for dates, or for burial at Clapp's Factory Cemetery. Since burials were banned in 1904 by the property owner (the precursor to current owner Georgia Power), it's very unlikely this man is buried there.

Ethel FRANKLIN, born 05 AUG 1905 in Alabama, daughter of Lon & Jane (GLOVER) RACKLEY, married 04 SEP 1946 in Phenix City, Russell County, Alabama, to Morgan A. LANEY. The record reports she was not divorced but was a widow and that her marriage to LANEY was her second marriage. But she'd had a daughter by Henry CUNNINGHAM and several by Mr. FRANKLIN.

Also have not found any record of Henry CUNNINGHAM, who was supposedly born 23 JAN 1900, ostensibly married Ethel before 1928, reportedly died in 1929 and was buried in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in DeKalb County, Alabama. Ethel appears as a widow, aged 19 years, with daughter Kathleen, aged 2 years, in the household of Ethel's parents in Troy, Pike County, Alabama.
