Brett Thomas Rawdon, 33 of Oklahoma City succumbed to his illness Wednesday, May 22, 2019. He had been battling his disease for the latter part of his life. Brett was raised in Edmond, Oklahoma and later in Choctaw Oklahoma. Brett attended Choctaw High School and graduated in 2004. He attended The University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Safety in 2009. He is the beloved son of Jack and Andrea Rawdon and Karl and Karen Landers. He is the brother to Elizabeth Rawdon, Andrew and Diana Rawdon, Richard and Melissa Fair and Josh and Katie Landers. He was a loving uncle to Ethan and Kathryn Rawdon, Savannah and Cameron Fair, and Wyatt & Elliott Landers. He is survived by his grandparents Mary Rawdon of Edmond, Oklahoma and Tom & Jean Brunson of Dallas, Texas and David and Vivian Landers of Midwest City, Oklahoma. Brett has joined his granddad, Jack Doyle Rawdon , in heaven. Our family is now blessed with two of the most loving and kind-hearted guardian angels. Brett was a devoted son and brother. He took every opportunity to be with his sisters and brother. Brett was lovingly referred to as “B” by his mother. Brett adored his family and would always ask how everyone was doing including inquiring about his cousins…Carter, Braden, Kylie, Blake, Clarissa, Autumn, Todd, Anthony, Allison, Riley, Steve and Tommy. Brett loved music. He played the guitar and drums. He was a huge fan of The Cranberries all the while having a big crush on the lead singer. He often played Nirvana on his guitar. He loved to make his dad proud of him. He knew how much we all loved him. Brett is finally at peace, his disease washed from his body. He can now live the life in heaven that he deserved on earth in perfect mind and spirit.
“Peace I leave with you: my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” - John 14:27
