Frances Leona Willett Culver, 84, New Haven, died Feb. 1, 1999, at her son’s residence in Balltown.
A native of Nelson County, she worked for 21 years in the bottling house at Jim Beam Distillery.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Culvertown and the Culvertown
Senior Citizens Club.
he was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Lottie Watson Willett, and five sons, Joe, Louis,
Richard, George and Woodrow Willett.
Survivors include: her husband, William Patrick “Pat” Culver; a son, Jimmy Willett of Balltown; a sister,
Mrs. Earl (Alice) Hagan of New Haven; a brother, Sam Willett of Loretto; six grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Feb. 2, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial in the St.
Thomas Church Cemetery in Balltown. Father Lawrence Lindle officiated.
Pallbearers were Mark, Danny and Jimmy Willett, Josh Ballard, Richard Ball and Chad Blandford.
Prayers were at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 1, at Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven, which was in
charge of the arrangements.
