Vernon Glyn Luckey, age 77 of Brasstown, NC passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 at his residence.


He was born in Fort Myers, FL to the late James and Lela Stewart Luckey. Glyn was a US Army veteran. He was an electrician and a member of Little Brasstown Baptist Church.


In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Luckey.


He is survived by his children, Danny Luckey, Scott Luckey and Janet Braswell, Tammy Patrick and husband Michael and Rene Branom and husband David; one brother, Gary Luckey and wife Betty; grandchildren, Jonathan Branom, Dakota, Chloe and Jasmine Luckey, Bethani and Joshua Patrick; two great-granddaughters, Aiyla and Ashley Branom.


Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with military graveside rites being conducted by the American Legion Post #96 Murphy, American Legion Post 532 Hayesville, VFW Post 6812, Hayesville, NC and the Marine Corp League Marble, NC. Pallbearers will be Robert Caldwell, David Branom, Danny and Scott Luckey, Jonathan Branom, Kenny Hall and Dale Fulbright.
